Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to all Loan Signing Appointments and supplements the LuxeScribe Group LLC Master Service Policy, which also applies in full. SERVICE OVERVIEW Loan signing services provide professional facilitation of document execution for real estate and lending transactions, including refinances, purchases, HELOCs, reverse mortgages, seller packages, and commercial loans. Service includes travel within the standard radius and return shipping coordination. The NSA does not provide legal, financial, or lending advice. LOAN TYPE SELECTION Clients must select the applicable loan type at booking. Incorrect selection may result in additional fees or rescheduling. All fees are disclosed prior to confirmation. IDENTIFICATION & DOCUMENT READINESS All signers must present a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID. Documents must be received and ready prior to the appointment. The notary cannot advise on loan terms, alter documents, or determine document suitability. Lender or title changes after scheduling may result in additional fees. ADD-ON SERVICES Scanbacks are not included in the base fee. Additional fees apply for services selected at booking, including scanbacks, large packages, same-day document delivery, rush or after-hours scheduling, witness coordination, split signings, and travel outside the standard radius. All fees are disclosed prior to confirmation. CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING - 4+ hours before appointment: No charge - Within 4 hours: 50% of total service fee - Within 1 hour or no-show: 100% of total service fee *Same-day bookings are immediately subject to the within-4-hour cancellation policy. LATE ARRIVALS A 15-minute grace period is provided. Delays beyond this may result in rescheduling and applicable fees. INCOMPLETE OR FAILED APPOINTMENTS If the appointment cannot be completed due to absent signers, missing ID, lender or title changes, incomplete documents, refusal to sign, or any condition preventing lawful notarization, the appointment is considered fulfilled and all fees remain due. NOTARIAL AUTHORITY The notary may refuse or discontinue service if a signer appears unwilling, impaired, or unaware, or if the request violates Florida law or ethical standards. Backdating or unlawful notarizations will not be performed under any circumstance. A notarial journal entry is recorded for every session per Florida law. NOTARY-CAUSED CANCELLATIONS If LuxeScribe Group LLC cancels or fails to appear, a full refund will be issued.
