Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to General Mobile Notary Appointments and supplements the LuxeScribe Group LLC Master Service Policy, which also applies in full. Note: Real estate closings, refinance packages, HELOCs, seller packages, and all loan-related signings must be booked under the Loan Signing Appointment service. SERVICE OVERVIEW Professional mobile notary services are provided at your home, office, specialized facility, or agreed location. Service includes travel within the standard radius and up to two notarized signatures. All services comply with Florida notary. IDENTIFICATION & DOCUMENT READINESS A valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID is required at time of service. All documents must be completed, printed, and ready prior to the appointment. The notary cannot prepare, alter, or provide legal advice regarding documents. ADD-ON SERVICES Additional fees apply for services selected at booking, including extra notarized signatures, additional signers, witness services, document printing, rush or after-hours scheduling, travel outside the standard radius, and Specialized Facility Appointments. Specialized Facility Appointments include hospitals, assisted living, nursing homes, and correctional or restricted-access facilities. Standard operating hours are posted on our website and subject to change. All add-on fees are disclosed prior to confirmation. CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING 4+ hours before appointment: No charge Within 4 hours: 50% of total service fee Within 1 hour or no-show: 100% of total service fee Same-day bookings are immediately subject to the within-4-hour cancellation policy. LATE ARRIVALS A 15-minute grace period is provided. Delays beyond this may result in rescheduling and applicable fees. INCOMPLETE OR FAILED APPOINTMENTS If the appointment cannot be completed due to absent signers, missing ID, incomplete documents, refusal to sign, or any condition preventing lawful notarization, the appointment is considered fulfilled and all fees remain due. NOTARIAL AUTHORITY The notary may refuse or discontinue service if a signer appears unwilling, impaired, or unaware, if documents are incomplete, or if the request violates Florida law or ethical standards. Backdating or unlawful notarizations will not be performed under any circumstance. NOTARY-CAUSED CANCELLATIONS If LuxeScribe Group LLC cancels or fails to appear, a full refund will be issued. Appointment timing may shift due to travel conditions; clients will be notified of delays.
