Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to all Document Authentication & Apostille services performed by LuxeScribe Group LLC and supplements the Master Service Policy, which also applies in full. SERVICE OVERVIEW Document authentication and apostille services are provided for documents requiring official certification for legal, academic, corporate, or international use. LuxeScribe Group LLC facilitates the authentication process but does not guarantee acceptance by any foreign government, agency, or institution. DOCUMENT ELIGIBILITY Only documents issued by a Florida government agency or notarized by a commissioned Florida notary public are eligible for a Florida apostille. Clients are responsible for confirming document eligibility prior to booking. Ineligible documents will not be processed and applicable fees remain due. GOVERNMENT PROCESSING Authentication requiring submission to the Florida Secretary of State or the U.S. Department of State is subject to government processing times outside LuxeScribe Group LLC's control. Delays caused by government agencies do not qualify for refunds. Government filing fees are separate from service fees and are the client's responsibility. DOCUMENT PREPARATION All documents must be original, complete, and properly executed prior to submission. Documents with missing seals, improper notarial wording, or other deficiencies may be rejected and require resubmission at additional cost. ADD-ON SERVICES Additional fees apply for services selected at booking, including additional documents, corporate or business documents, federal-level authentication, expedited processing, domestic or international return shipping, and priority scheduling. All add-on fees are disclosed prior to confirmation. CANCELLATION & REFUNDS 4+ hours before appointment: No charge Within 4 hours: 50% of service fee Within 1 hour or no-show: 100% of service fee Once documents have been submitted to any government agency, all fees are non-refundable regardless of cancellation timing. Government filing fees are non-refundable under any circumstance. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY LuxeScribe Group LLC is not liable for document rejection by any government agency or foreign authority. Resubmission fees are the client's responsibility. NOTARY-CAUSED ERRORS If rejection results from a notarial error by LuxeScribe Group LLC, the document will be corrected and resubmitted at no additional charge.
